About our family home
For over a decade, this house was filled with the rhythm of everyday life — laughter echoing through the halls, muddy shoes by the door after Karoo adventures, and countless meals shared around the table. It was our family home, a place where childhood memories were made, where birthdays were celebrated under the stars, and where the fire always seemed to crackle just a little more warmly.
Though we’ve since moved to Moorreesburg, this home still holds a special place in all of our hearts — especially the children, who call it their favorite place on earth. Every corner tells a story, every wall holds a memory. It’s more than just a guesthouse — it’s a piece of our family’s heart, lovingly opened to those seeking rest, connection, and a touch of Karoo magic.
